About the Guild |

|
The Guild members are a group of women and men with a variety of
backgrounds and interests, but all with one common passion — knitting in
its many forms, traditions and fashions. Members may have been knitting
only a few months or for more than 50 years — all are welcome to share
and learn. We meet formally once a month on the second Saturday from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm. Meetings are held at the St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 11555 National Blvd. (corner of Federal and National) in Los Angeles. We also have informal groups who meet to knit together on a more frequent basis and at other locations. Each monthly meeting includes a short workshop presented by a Guild member. At least twice a year, the Guild brings in guest teachers for 1-2 day intensive workshops on a particular aspect of knitting. Annual membership dues of $25 are due October 1 of each year. Membership benefits include participation in workshops and a subscription to the monthly newsletter. Sand and Sea Knitting Guild is a member of
The Knitting Guild Association, the
national knitting guild organization. |
