| The Sand and Sea Knitting Guild is a
non-profit organization which provides education to its
members and the general public to advance the quality,
workmanship and creativity of knitting.
The Guild holds monthly meetings with
educational programs which are open to the public. We
sponsor knitting workshops, create knitted items for
donation to philanthropic projects and enrich our
enjoyment of knitting.
Visitors are welcome to attend the monthly
Guild meeting which is held on the second Saturday of
each month from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm at St Andrew's
Lutheran Church, 11555 National Bl., Los Angeles, CA
90064.

Member's Recognized!
At Stitches West, Sand and Sea
Guild members made a great showing at the
Student Banquet Fashion Show. Three of the
four prizes were awarded to Sand and Sea
members. Sarah won for her Double Knit City
Scape Jacket, Nona won for a lovely kimono,
and Olga won for a crocheted skirt. It was a
great fashion show with lots of entries and
some really good knitting -- which makes the
wins by our members even more special.
