ANNOUNCEMENTS

The TWIST COLLECTIVE has arrived! A new "twist" on e-zines (electronic magazines), the Twist Collective is a quarterly on-line publication of original knitting designs which is supported through  on-line purchases of these downloadable designs.  Check out the inaugural issue by clicking on the link above!

And another e-zine is POPKNITS, with a special focus as the editor, Stephanie J Pajonas, describes it:  "Over the past few years, knitting vintage items has become popular again. Whether the item is a revamped sweater from the pages of Vogue Knitting 1955 or a new take on doily patterns as shawls, vintage knitting is taking a modern turn. Inspired by the thrift store finds sitting on our bookshelves, Popknits challenges you to take a new look at all things that have come before."

There are lots of new on-line resources on our LINKS page -- check out the on-line knitting magazines with free patterns, instructions and more.  We have new podcast sources as well as instructions on accessing these audio-files on-line or downloading them to your I-Pod.
